Still thinking about wallpaper

Here are some photo's of beautiful wallpaper that are inspiring me at the moment. Perhaps they are not exactly what I'm looking for to use in our living area, but I can think up a million projects around the house to wallpaper!

Latest Pics of Finn

Just adding the latest photo's of Finn, so you can see the progress! 8 weeks old today! These pics have been taken this week, most in the last 2 days. (Don't mind the state of me).

My Gorgeous Mirror

Thought I'd show you this gorgeous mirror I spotted in a shop that was closing down. It was for nothing so I grabbed it thinking it would look great above our white fireplace in the living room...but when we held it up there it didn't look quite right so we have put it in our hallway. It's in a much better position because it really lightens up the hallway and you can check yourself in the mirror before opening the door to guests!hahaha

Wallpapering our Living Room

So I've been thinking of wallpapering our living room...just one feature wall again because I really couldn't imagine doing the whole room- that would take like almost forever to complete and I also wouldn't do the whole room because that may make you feel a little enclosed.

This first image is a good example of what I'm thinking. The colours we have in the living area are similar to those in this image, except we have a dark wooden floor, and cream sofas. I also like the simple repetition of the pattern on this wallpaper, although I may try and look for a large flower?

The next image is a photo of our living area when we moved in...(nothing) and the next image is of our living area at the moment. Although it still looks kind of bare, it's alot more shall I say 'finished' than when we first moved in!

The reason I'm posting my appartment in such a state is because I'd LOVE some feedback before I go out and by rolls and rolls of fabulous new wallpaper!

Wallpaper

This is my first attempt at wallpapering. I chose to do a feature wall in our master bedroom. It didn't turn out too bad and I have to say I love the pattern. Duck egg blue and rust red, with a lovely cherry blossom design...it's quite oriental. Think I'll even try another wall in our living room.

Furious Finn!!

Yesterday Finn and I went for oue 6 week chech-up at the doctors. We are both doing great. Finn now weighs a little over 9 pounds which is good news and has grown from 47-48cms long at birth to 54 cms long now. He has already grown out of some of his clothes and is now wearing size 0-3 months instead of new born clothes.
Although he looks furious in this photo he actually wasn't. Gosh the paparazzi get it sooo wrong sometimes don't they?

Artist Trading Cards-swapped series

This is an old atc swap that I was involved in and have finally gotten around to framing. I placed the four cards onto some great background paper then into a very simple frame as the work is so busy. My card was the letter 'O', and I swapped the rest of my 'home'series for these other cards.
I love the idea of collecting other peoples mini artworks!

Here are a few pics of some peices of jewellry I've made recently. I used vintaged beads and trinkets that I've been collecting for ages. They are a bit bohemian I think?
